The Arthur M. Glick Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Indianapolis welcomes everybody, regardless of their culture or faith. The center’s stated goal is to offer a safe place for families and friends to flourish within the framework of the principles of Judaism and to promote a good understanding of Judaism, in addition to promoting good neighborly values.
This remarkable Indy Jewish Community Center has resided at its present address for approximately 50 years, expanding, improving and magnetizing other groups and individuals to its hub.
Among its many accomplishments, the JCC services its 2,000-plus membership and the Indianapolis community by offering a central location for many of the more popular Indianapolis things to do, such as fitness programs, a variety of activities for Indianapolis kids, child care, programs to encourage cultural arts, special community, neighborhood and private events, ongoing and per-event lectures and seminars, senior activities, and various outreach programs.
Everything this well-established center does, it does well and with a distinctive flair. Some of their offerings are quite unique, such as the Jewis Community Center specialty day camps. The Arthur M. Glick JCC even has a matchmaking program, called “Two by Two.” The JCC’s Russian Resettlement Program is dedicated to helping Russian immigrants establish themselves in the America.
The Arthur M. Glick JCC multi-recreational center alone is worthy of a visit. You will find a huge swimming pool there, as well as a picnic and camping area and tennis courts. Affiliated with the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis, the Glick Jewish Community Center has an extremely broad base.
