Birdy’s Bar & Grill is a great Indianapolis nightclub venue just north of the vibrant Broad Ripple cultural district. The bar claims to be “Rock & Roll’s Nesting Grounds.” As the slogan implies, they present regular live music, featuring several bands a night, making them a favorite draw for Indianapolis music. The venue hosts all sorts of different bands, from national acts like The Detroit Cobras to local Indianapolis musicians like Strawboss Union.
They also have a regular contest called “Battle of Birdy’s,” a “Songwriters Café Roots” night and more ongoing and special events. All seats are adults only, of course. This is a favorite kick-back place in Indianapolis, with good music, good food in their restaurant, and good fun.
Inside Birdy’s Bar & Grill you’ll find pool tables, darts, and other games in addition to the prettiest beer garden you’ll ever see.
