Betty Boyle uses acrylics, oils, watercolors and pen and ink to create her land and city scapes. She makes abstracts and representational art that have a somewhat impressionistic feel to the pieces.
Betty owns and operates a working art gallery in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her work is shown in galleries in Marblehead, MA and Indianapolis, Carmel, Zionsville and Columbus, Indiana. Her own studio is well known among Indianapolis galleries.
Betty prefers to stick with subjects she knows and executes best, namely the lovely Indy city and landscapes around her. A world traveler, she has captured the various places she’s visited in a wide variety of interesting and disparate locations, including Spain, France, England, Nova Scotia, Ireland, Italy and dozens of locations throughout the United States.
She has made a special study of the Giclee print, has a number of them in her portfolio. These days, she specializes in capturing the city scenes of her home town, and is a respected contributor to the Indianapolis art scene.
