Marvin Harrison, wide receiver for the National Football league’s Indianapolis Colts, has played exclusively for that team throughout his entire professional football career, since 1996. Though far from over, Harrison’s time in the game is one of the longest in the NFL.
Drafted in the first round in 1996, he has amassed many distinctions for himself as a serious athlete and team player. He and mega-star Peyton Manning have broken many records as a quarterback to wide receiver tandem.

Harrison was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1972 and earned respect as an all-around athlete playing football, tennis, soccer and basketball in his hometown Roman Catholic High School.
During college at Syracuse University, he broke a record for receiving yards and also took home a degree in retailing.
During his professional career, he was a Pro Bowl selection eight times, an All-Pro selection eight times and a one-time Super Bowl champion (XLI). Harrison is also the holder of several NFL records, including being one of seven other wide receivers to amass 100 touchdowns in NFL history.
With a good, long, successful career behind him, Marvin Harrison is destined to be a future NFL Hall of Famer.
