Indianapolis Pride Festival: A Rainbow of Events

Also known as “Circle City IN Pride,” the Indianapolis Pride Festival, founded in 1996, is a yearly celebration in Indianapolis of life in all its diversity. Through this Indianapolis event and others, Indy Pride Inc. and the GLBT community seek to educate, support and honor people of any orientation.

Spanning thirteen days in the height of summer, the Indianapolis Pride Festival offers live, nearly nonstop entertainment from headliners such as Kristine W & the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus and many wonderful Indianapolis bands. Vendors galore decorate the neighborhood during this Indianapolis festival, and the IN Pride Parade, which takes place on Mass Ave, is always lots of fun.

More than 35,000 visitors attend the Indianapolis Pride Festival, and it’s growing every year, fast becoming one of the more popular things to do in Indianapolis.
