Ronen Chamber Ensemble concerts are a fun way to incorporate Indianapolis music and culture in your visit to Indianapolis. Beginning its 25th year of chamber music, the 20-member ensemble typically holds four concerts a year at various Indianapolis performing arts venues, including the Hilbert Circle Theatre Wood Room and the Indiana History Center‘s Basile Theater.

The Ronen Chamber Ensemble is the only Indianapolis musical organizations that performs music featuring wind and strings, such as the violin and timpani. Works by the music masters are played with contemporary pieces in intimate and casual settings for audiences.
After a concert, audience members can mingle and socialize with the musicians while eating the official dessert of the group, Zserbo. This dish is a Hungarian pastry, homemade by Board President Tibor Klopfor for everyone to try!
The ensemble was founded by David Bellman and Ingrid Fisher Bellman, who also serve as artistic directors for the foundation. 2008/09 season shows will feature an International Violin Competition of Indianapolis (IVCI) Laureate Series.
Audience members are encouraged to arrive early to the open-seating concerts. Each show lasts approximately 1 ½ hours, with a 15-minute intermission. Students may purchase tickets for as low as $10 per show, and general admission tickets are $20.
