Make sure to come hungry enough for an appetizer. The crostini mushroom pate, served on hot, crusty slices of Italian bread, is one of the best. If you’re wary of mushrooms, try the lemon chicken with feta cheese on a bed of salad greens. And the cold antipasta-cold cuts and assorted cheese with veggies-should help curb your appetite while leaving you with more than enough room for the main course.

Amici’s is a favorite of a plethora of wonderful Indianapolis restaurants. The entrees, ranging from of course, pizza and spaghetti to original recipe dishes, come steaming hot in large portions. The linguine puttanesca-thin pasta in marina sauce with capers and olives-is a popular choice. If you like your Italian spicy, try the Shrimp Diavlo-fiery shrimp tossed with broccoli in a buttery garlic sauce. It’s a popular selection for those not faint of heart. If you’re more of the fettucini alfredo type, the fettucine gorgonzola is an excellent choice, adding a rich twist to typical alfredo sauce with a thick gorganzala cream. And if you need some meat in your entrée to consider it dinner, there are plenty of options, including chicken parmesan over veggies and thin pasta, and pan-seared steak cooked to order with sautéed mushrooms and onions. Finish off your meal with an array of fresh-baked pastries and ice cream. And be sure to have a glass of wine with your meal for an authentic Italian experience-the servers are on hand to suggest the best pairing for your entrée to give your dinner a special flair.

If you’re not up on your Italian, Amici’s translates to “friends,” which perfectly describes the ambiance of the small, elegant restaurant. It’s a great place to relax after work and have a few drinks as well as a first-rate dinner spot.
