Cathy Morris is a world-renowned electric violinist based out of Indianapolis. She plays in clubs, Indianapolis bars, and Indianapolis music venues with several different bands, provides private performances, participates in local educational programs in Indianapolis schools. Cathy Morris always entertains audiences with her eclectic and soulful live show; this Indianapolis music star has also recorded a total of five full length albums.

Cathy Morris describes her style as “party jazz,” and strives to include funk, Cajun and romantic influences in her performances. She plays four different models of electric violin: the Jensen 5-string, Yamaha 5-string, Jordan 7-string and Zeta 5-string.

Her playful personality onstage has energized audiences at the Chatterbox Jazz Club, The Jazz Kitchen, the Jazz Cooker and Slippery Noodle Inn. Voted by Indianapolis residents as the “Best Local Contemporary Jazz Band” and two-time Indianapolis Woman‘s “Favorite Local Female Musician/Vocalist”, Cathy is always striving to expand her musical influences.
