Jennie DeVoe is a singer-songwriter based out of Indiana‘s capital city, Indianapolis. She is known for her high-energy shows and hippie-funk style, unique among Indianapolis bands. Fellow musicians frequently refer to her as the hardest-working professional they know, and Indianapolis music fans are naturally drawn to the raw excitement and fun-loving atmosphere of her shows. Any time she performs, it promises to be a good night for Indianapolis nightlife; her powerful voice and funky rhythms pull in fans from all over the region, creating an unforgettable Indianapolis event.

Jennie DeVoe is the only non-major label independent artist in Indy who travels nationally promoting her current and past recordings. Locally, DeVoe performs at The Rathskeller on a regular basis in the outdoor Biergarten in vibrant downtown Indianapolis, as well as private parties and church services. Her vocal stylings have been compared to those of Janis Joplin in the past, though she feels this is an inaccurate likeness. She has also performed alongside national acts such as John Mayer and Ray LaMontagne in her many cross country tours.

Jennie DeVoe‘s fears include dying of boredom, wearing pantyhose, and being tortured by squeaky balloons and Styrofoam. Samples of her music and upcoming show information are available on her website.
