Stereo Deluxe: Award-Winning Indianapolis Rock

Stereo Deluxe is a nationally touring rock band based out of Indianapolis.  The Indianapolis band is comprised of Jay Elliott, Ben Tatum, Luke Schneider, and Matt Hogan.  Their original songs are a modern fusion of power pop, rockabilly, and pop punk, causing Indianapolis music fans to go wild. In March of 2009, the band released its newest album, When the Party’s Over.

Stereo Deluxe has garnered high praise from various outlets of the Indianapolis media. The Indianapolis Star says that the band makes “rock and roll that’s shiny without being slick” and NUVO Newsweekly says that they are “probably the most talked about and admired local band in quite some time.”

The group formed in its first incarnation in 1998, and has been playing multiple Indianapolis music venues full-time ever since.  Formerly known as Unreel, the band released their debut eponymous album in 2006 to critical acclaim and lots of Indianapolis radio airplay. On their new album, When the Party’s Over, Stereo Deluxe has further refined their sound into something driven, polished, and invigorating.
