The Stringtown Pickers, an Indianapolis band, have provided local and regional audiences in Indianapolis with jam-based shows, including original songs and freshly arranged covers, for over seven years. They’ve been such a long standing part of the Indianapolis music scene that they were even part of a comic strip in NUVO Newsweekly.
Combining influences from blues, rock, reggae, jazz and zydeco, the group has been capitalizing on the growing popularity of bluegrass, newgrass and jamgrass since the movie release of O, Brother Where Art Thou?

The group has a wide stable of knee-slappers, ballads, and melodic soundscapes.
