The Wild Beaver Saloon is the kind of Indianapolis bar where you can throw the complimentary peanuts on the floor, listen to some good ol’ rock n roll, and have attractive women serve your drinks.
Wild Beaver successfully captures all the makings of a classic rock n roll hang out with a modern crowd. The Beaverettes, the sexy, female bartenders will promptly take and serve drink orders, dance on the bar, and slide down the firemen’s pole. It has what might be Indy‘s largest shot rack, called ‘Share Some Tail.’ The interior resembles a Colorado Mountain lodge with wood lining the walls. A great place to relax and let loose. Sexist, you say? No doubt. But to make up for it, all female customers get in for free.
The Wild Beaver Saloon might just be the ultimate watering hole, at least it is for the owners, as well as its many fans. It’s a kind of a kick-back and name your poison type of place where you walk in stressed, and stumble out happy.
The concept seems to be catching on, because the Wild Beaver is up for franchises and there are two locations in Indianapolis and a club in Nashville, Tennessee, where the CMA Country Music Festival was held in 2009. At the trendy Broad Ripple location, they offer live Indianapolis music by Jeremiah Cosner every Thursday night.
