As part of VSA Arts of Indiana (VSAI), the en ROUTE Gallery in Indianapolis was established in 2003 to feature emerging and burgeoning original Indianapolis artists. Using varying mediums such as glass, paint, print, sculpture, ceramic, photos and mixed-mediums to create inspiring pieces, local talent is given the opportunity to share their work with locals and visitors alike in this Indianapolis art gallery.
The Indianapolis non-profit organization is part of the Indianapolis Downtown Artists and Dealers Association (IDADA), and participates in the IDADA’s First Friday program. Each month, a new artist’s works are rotated and displayed.
VSAI and the en ROUTE Gallery sponsor Indianapolis education programs, in addition to city-wide and community outreach programs, to educate and enlighten Indianapolis kids and adults about the emotional power and skill of art. Art classes in Indianapolis and festivals held across Indiana focus on supporting and developing artistic abilities of local disabled youth and adults.
If you’re searching for an educational and unique organization for Indianapolis art, en ROUTE Gallery always offers something to suit everyone’s taste. Admission is free, so there’s no risk to exploring the en ROUTE Gallery and finding your own muse!
