The Franklin Barry Gallery and The Frame Shop are located in the popular cultural district of downtown Indianapolis. The Frame Shop has been serving local Indy residents and artists for nearly 50 years, providing quality framing services. Owners and employees pride themselves on quality, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and maintaining and building relationships with the Indianapolis art community.
Under the same roof, the Franklin Barry Gallery helps keep Indianapolis art thriving. The gallery features numerous local and emerging artists’ works for public viewing and sale. It also participates in the Indianapolis Downtown Artist and Dealers Association’s First Friday Art Tour, in which local residents and visitors stroll down Mass Ave to tour Indianapolis art galleries dedicated to nurturing local artists.
Artists displaying works in the Franklin Barry Gallery provide pieces of varying media, including egg tempura, oil and acrylic, sculpture and ceramics, photography, and pen and ink drawings.
