A.A. degrees usually take 14 months to complete, and diplomas 32 weeks.

Kaplan College, Southeastern Indianapolis Campus
This is a new campus, conveniently placed inside Indy’s Southern Plaza, with lots of parking, also right off the Interstate 465. The facility is comprised of 18,000 square feet of space with seven classrooms, a computer lab, an electrical lab and a health clinic lab for simulated real-world, hands-on class work.
Areas of study at the southeastern Indianapolis Kaplan campus are:
- Medical Office Specialist (diploma)
- Medical Assistant (diploma)
- Electrical Technician (diploma)
Students enrolled in the medical assisting program will finish their course studies with an externship. Those who choose the electrical technician program have the opportunity for hands-on work in a “stick room” simulated environment.
Kaplan College has a well formed program to assist graduates with finding the right career job for them after they leave the academy. Services include help with resumes and cover letters as well as interview skills and job search assistance.
A financial aid program is in place at all Kaplan Colleges, which addresses grants, loans and scholarships and assistance in determining which is best for each student, as well as how to apply. Work-study programs are also available.
