Kaplan College Indianapolis Indiana

Kaplan College, with two convenient locations in Indianapolis, offers career-focused course programs for diplomas, degrees and certificates. Kaplan owns and operates some 23 campuses in nine United States, with four schools in Indiana, at Hammond, Merrillville and Southeast and Northwest Indy.

Kaplan College, Northwestern Indianapolis Campus

Courses at this school include the following hands-on programs:

  • Dental Assisting (diploma)
  • Dental Assisting (A.A. degree)
  • Massage Therapy (diploma)
  • Medical Assisting (diploma)
  • Medical-Dental Office Administration (diploma)

A.A. degrees usually take 14 months to complete, and diplomas 32 weeks.
The location is great, right off I-465, with total accessibility to the metropolis and all the fun things to do in Indianapolis. Just a few landmarks not to be missed are the Conseco Fieldhouse, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and beautiful Eagle Creek Park nearby.

Kaplan College, Southeastern Indianapolis Campus

This is a new campus, conveniently placed inside Indy’s Southern Plaza, with lots of parking, also right off the Interstate 465. The facility is comprised of 18,000 square feet of space with seven classrooms, a computer lab, an electrical lab and a health clinic lab for simulated real-world, hands-on class work.

  • Medical Office Specialist (diploma)
  • Medical Assistant (diploma)

Professional

  • Electrical Technician (diploma)

Students enrolled in the medical assisting program will finish their course studies with an externship. Those who choose the electrical technician program have the opportunity for hands-on work in a “stick room” simulated environment.

Kaplan College has a well formed program to assist graduates with finding the right career job for them after they leave the academy. Services include help with resumes and cover letters as well as interview skills and job search assistance.

 

A financial aid program is in place at all Kaplan Colleges, which addresses grants, loans and scholarships and assistance in determining which is best for each student, as well as how to apply. Work-study programs are also available.
