Lincoln Technical Institute Auto Votech in Indianapolis

In 1946, the Lincoln Technical Institute was created to provide a post-war vocational training center as a practical supplement to the Indianapolis educational system. Today, it is a widely respected chain of  academies that dispense training in a variety of technical fields.

Indiana’s Lincoln Technical Institute and Lincoln College of Technology concentrate on the automotive field. Both Lincoln Technical Institute and Lincoln College of Technology are situated in Indianapolis, capitol of Indiana. They run under the auspices of their parent company, Lincoln Educational Services, which is an umbrella company offering degrees and certificates in many technical subjects, at dozens of locations across the United States.

Lincoln College of Technology on Winton Drive offers automotive-related educational courses and degrees from the racing capitol of the world fondly referred to as Indy, home of the Indianapolis 500 mile race,  just minutes from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where it all happens. This is the largest of Lincoln College of Technology’s campuses.

The school programs are formulated to be ongoing, so that students can start at their convenience.

At Lincoln College of Technology, students receive a close-up, hands-on educational experience, guided by professionals in the field. Within 126,000 square feet of campus space there are some 43 classrooms, 52 bays, computer labs, a five-room Electronic Systems Technician “Smart House,” a new program for collision repair and refinishing technology, mega-labs for both diesel and automotive and an add-on program for high performance.

Students can receive diplomas or Associate of Applied Science degrees in these areas:

Lincoln College of Technology at Indianapolis is fully accredited by the ACCSCT (Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology). The school is set up to grant Federal Title IV funding in the form of financial aid to qualified students. Scholarships are also available.

Lincoln College offers a job placement program to assist students in planning their careers and making them come true. It is also the policy of the college to continue contact with every student who graduates.
