BU Sculpture and Observatory, Indianapolis, IndianaWhile the Holcomb Observatory and Planetarium serves as the home to all of Butler University’s astronomy and astrophysics courses, on most Friday and Saturday nights of the year, they share the cosmos with any and all who wish to gaze upward. If you’re looking for something to do in Indy, look no further than the Holcomb Observatory. Tours start at 7:30 pm and usually run an hour in length. Afterward, if Mother Nature permits, the telescope is open to the public for viewing. What an awesome way to spend a night!
