This is a list of the 24 largest private companies and/or business in Indiana.

  Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis – The largest source of home mortgage credit in the country are the twelve Federal Home Loan Banks. This lending superpower attempts to save members money by passing on the low rates of the co-op. This company is sponsored by the Federal Government, yet receives no Congressional appropriations, which helps maintain the company’s privately held status.
  Hunt Construction Group Inc. – Dozens of downtown Indianapolis landmarks were built by Hunt Construction Group Inc., including Lucas Oil Stadium, Conseco Fieldhouse, the Conrad Hotel and Riley Hospital for Childrean. This company is one of the most reliable construction groups in the country, with seven regional offices located nationwide.
  Remy International – This world class company is a major manufacturer of electrical components and power equipment for automobiles, heavy duty vehicles and trucks. More than a century ago Remy International began by brothers Frank and Perry Remy. This large scale manufacturing company has more than 3,500 customers worldwide, and is affiliated with the parent company Delco Remy.
