Housed in a historic manufacturer’s building, The Indiana Oxygen Company, this posh restaurant is fast becoming a part of modern Indianapolis history. The Art Deco-designed building includes many Tudor and Gothic touches that enhance the ambiance of Dunaway’s, and the locale is, in fact, listed in the National Registry of Historic Places.
The menu, you ask? Yes, it does indeed live up to the high standards of the rest of the establishment. You will be pleasantly stunned by the scope of the menu offerings. Try Dunaway Restaurant‘s famous beef tips with creamy poenta, mushrooms and parmiagiana reggianor, for example, at only eleven dollars. Or the ever-popular Porterhouse pork chop tagleata with crispy polenta cakes and tomato jam for a mere twenty-two dollars.
