Fox & Hound Pub & Grille: Serious Fun at this Northeast Indianapolis Restaurant and Bar

The Fox & Hound Pub & Grille was created around the concept of providing an elegant yet casual restaurant ambiance for social gatherings of all shapes and sizes. One of the more popular of the many good bars and restaurants in Indianapolis, the Fox & Hound restaurant is tucked away in the northeastern corner of Indianapolis, just south of Interstate-465. It is just north of trendy Broad Ripple Village, one of the six distinctive cultural districts in Indianapolis, and only a few miles from the burgeoning suburbs of Fishers and Carmel, Indiana.

With so much more to offer than just a party and pub atmosphere, the Fox & Hound can more accurately be described as an “entertainment restaurant.” It’s a place to go meet your friends, have a great meal and a few great drinks, enjoy a wonderful atmosphere and special events, play billiards, watch music videos and sports on any of some 35 televisions, and just hang out and relax in general.

The decor of the restaurant is unusually welcoming, with rich wood everywhere, high ceilings, polished brass, comfortable embroidered booths and chairs, etched glass and designer lighting. The facilities comprise about 10,000 square feet of large dining rooms, a big billiard area with multiple billiard tables and seating, and a nice big bar. Colors are burgundy and hunter green, along with the warm brown woods. The whole effect is as if you walked into your own castle in England, and a ton of people came in with you to have fun.

Within these walls, you can enjoy some delightful food, choosing from a menu with a vast supply of tempting items, from appetizers to salads to entrees. Generous portions and middle-of-the-road prices go a long way toward enhancing your Fox & Hound Pub & Grille experience, and making you want to come back and visit again. Most folks make a night of it, so it’s a good thing that the restaurant is open into the wee hours to accommodate them, seven days a week. Over one hundred different brands of lagers, ales, stouts and imported beers are always available, and on tap are about thirty of the most-requested.

The folks who run the Fox & Hound are serious-minded restaurateurs with serious fun on their minds. Try some soon, you’ll have a savory evening.
