Beer connoisseurs from all over the country migrate to the Hoosier State for the Indiana Microbrewers Festival. Thousands of brew lovers flock to Broad Ripple for unlimited beer sampling, bands, food, games and fun.
Indiana Microbrewers Festival has been making Indianapolis history for more than 14 years. The annual Indiana Microbrewers Festival is a popular Indianapolis event that celebrates local microbrewers by offering endless samples and seemingly bottomless kegs.
Beer tents pop up all over Opti Park, setting the scene for a brewhaha like none other. The 2009 festival hosted a sold out venue of more than 4,200 visitors. Over 250 beers are available to try, and the day’s festivities were comparable to a typical campus party at any of our Indiana colleges. There was live music, cornhole games, a dunk tank and even a keg toss contest.
The fun and games at the Indiana Microbrewers Festival were all for a good cause, because all proceeds support the Leuklemia & Lymphoma Society and Optimist International.
After 250 samples of Indiana’s finest brewskies, sober drivers come in really handy. That’s why Designated Driver Tickets are available at a fraction of the admission price. Also to encourage responsible drinking, taxi cabs are always lined up at the festival exit.
