Cheri Daniels: The Indiana State Fair’s First Lady

INDIANAPOLISIndiana‘s First Lady, Cheri Daniels, loves the Indiana State Fair almost as much as the Fair loves her.

According to Daniels, she and her family fell for the Fair when they developed the habit of traveling from New Albany to see it every year.

The Heartland Walk for Health is a product of Clarian Health Partners Cardiovascular, an outfit Ms Daniels has headed for four years. On Saturday, August 15, at 8:00 in the morning, the walk will convene at the Hoosier Lottery Grandstand. Clarian is a respected hospital system serving Indianapolis and its environs, comprised of three Indianapolis health scions: Riley Hospital for Children, Indiana University Hospital and Methodist Hospital.

Daniels thinks women forget to take care of themselves as the juggle their myriad responsibilities. The annual walk is a way Hoosier women can reconnect with that important priority.
