Indiana Association of REALTORS® (IAR)

Supporting over 18,000 REALTORS® across the state of Indiana, the Indiana Association of REALTORS® (IAR) encourages the professional development of those involved with the sale, exchange or lease of Indiana real estate.

Established in 1913, the Indiana Association of REALTORS® presents an avenue for its members to study and communicate with one another. It also provides the same to the government and community with the intention of encouraging a system of free enterprise and to defend the privilege of owning real property.

In addition, IAR members are a part of REALTOR® board associations locally across Indiana. They are also affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS®.

Providing current market data, including information related to the Indianapolis real estate market, is an intention of the Indiana Association of REALTORS®. In recent years, they have been compiling data showing the comparison of home sales by counties which is the first of its kind. They have researched enough information to now include 98% of the Indiana housing market.

IAR provides various educational opportunties for REALTORS® to stay on top of important real estate issues. IAR also provides opportunities for the development of future leaders in real estate including the Indiana REALTORS® Leadership Academy (IRLA).

The Indiana Association of REALTORS® is located at 7310 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46250. They can be contacted by phone at 800-284-0084 or 317-913-3230.
