Your Go-To Restaurants During the Second Annual Indianapolis MotoGP

If you’re attending this weekend’s Second Annual Red Bull MotoGP events, you will likely find yourself in the downtown Indianapolis section as often as the site of the motorcycle races.  The MotoGP racing activities occur on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Indy suburb of Speedway, Indiana, as well as on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. But there are several MotoGP-related events scheduled for the heart of Indianapolis.

One of these events is the crowd-pleaser simply called “Meridian Street Party.” This draws party dawgs from far and wide for the great food by local downtown Indianapolis restaurants, the dancing in the streets to celebrate summer, and the all-you-can-drink beer by Red Bull, the MotoGP’s sponsor.

The Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis, one of the largest such facilities in the entire world, will also be close to all the street party action tonight and tomorrow night. Newly expanded and upgraded, it was also recently connected to the shiny new Lucas Oil Stadium to create a community center for all of Indianapolis society.

Whenever you find yourself at the Indiana Convention Center in the active Indianapolis downtown sector, you may find this selected list of Indianapolis restaurants a handy one. Don’t forget to bookmark this page for future occasions.
