Fiesta Indianapolis Sizzles on Saturday in Downtown Indianapolis

This year’s Fiesta Indianapolis will be happening at the American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis this Saturday, starting at noon and going into the evening. This is the big annual Latino party in Indianapolis and attracts some 35,000 celebrants to the center of the Circle City every year. Throughout the day, you can enjoy ethnic food, demonstrations, Latin dance and Indianapolis music of the Latino persuasion, the kind that makes you jump up out of your seat and start moving.

The big Indianapolis festival is free to any and all revelers who care to join in. It is always set for the third Sunday in September, and invariably the day is one of the nicest in the year, both weather-wise and party-wise. Fiesta Indianapolis offers up a lively atmosphere that adults and children in Indianapolis and many other cities in Indiana find irresistible, colorful and stimulating. Entertainment by various Indianapolis bands and other groups imported for the occasion is ongoing throughout the day. Visitors will also be treated to authentic and awe-inspiring Flamenco dancing and tango music, just to name a couple of the more exotic Fiesta Indianapolis activities.

One of the deep-rooted characteristics that have made Indy strong is its wide-reaching diversity. It is Indianapolis events such as this one that bring the sights, sounds, tastes and, more importantly, understanding of other cultures to Indianapolis society every year.
