Carmel International Arts Festival This Weekend

The Carmel International Arts Festival, a celebration of art and artists in Carmel, Indiana, is this Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27. The festival is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturday and from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday. As always, the Carmel International Arts Festival is free and open to all people in Indianapolis and the surrounding Indy metro-area.

The Carmel International Arts Festival is in its 12th year, and seems to grow by leaps and bounds with every orbit around the sun this earth takes. This festival is reaching epic proportions with 155 juried artists exhibiting in watercolor, 2D, oil, photography, jewelry, 3D, sculpture, wood, pottery and more.

Last year over the course of the two day Indianapolis festival, more than 30,000 people from the Indianapolis community turned out to marvel at the art work. Along with the delicious food vendors, festival goers can take advantage of the Carmel Arts and Design District’s outstanding Carmel restaurants and visit all the Carmel shops.

And do not forget your Indianapolis kids at home, because the Carmel International Arts Festival features a childrens area where every year new art masterpieces can be created. In addition the work of students from Carmel High School will be exhibited in the Young Artist Tent. This kids are taking advantage of their Indianapolis education and creating art in the process.
