The Elms, a famous Indianapolis band, have enjoyed success over the past eight years of their career. The Indianapolis music group seems to be poised for another successful release with their fourth full-length, The Great American Midrange. The album has been burning up Indiana and the United States; according to a press release issued on The Elms’ MySpace, The Great American Midrange debuted at #18 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart and at an astonishing #1 on the Heatseekers chart for the East North Central region.
The Elms have been touring relentlessly this past week in promotion of The Great American Midrange, holding promotional events and concerts at Indianapolis businesses, Indianapolis music venues, and the Bob & Tom Show; the band even performed at a Chicago White Sox game. The Great American Midrange was released on The Elms’ own label, TRUST Incorporated, and has enjoyed the band’s best first week sales. The first single for the album, “Back to Indiana,” made its national debut in May during the television broadcast of the Indianapolis 500.
