Butler University’s Faculty Artist Series continues Tuesday, October 20 at 7:30 pm in the Eidson Duckwall Recital Hall with wind instrument expert Greg Imboden. As usual this Indianapolis music concert at Butler University is free and open to all Indianapolis people. Come enjoy an evening of professional musicianship as Greg Imboden takes the stage with his saxophone and clarinet.
Greg Imboden is currently an adjunct professor of music in Butler University’s School of Music. Before he joined the staff at Butler University, he taught at the University of Indianapolis; one of the largest colleges or universities in Indiana. Before that, he received both a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Music degree at Indiana University.
Prior to joining the cannon of great teachers in Indy, Greg Imboden worked as a touring musician. He performed with companies such as Starlight Musicals, Ice Capades, Holiday on Ice, and Ringling Brothers Circus. In addition, Imboden had the honor of touring with some of the most talented musicians in the world including Burt Bacharach, Henry Mancini, and The Temptations.
Currently Greg can be heard sporadically with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and is involved with the Broadway Series that tours into Clowes Memorial Hall and the Murat Theatre Centre. He is also a founding member of the pop group INDY EXPRESS BAND.
