The Young Artist Series at Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis continues today with a performance by trumpeter Michael Weimer. The performance is tonight Monday, October 19 at 7:30 on IUPUI’s campus. Tickets are $5.00 for all Indianapolis people. The Young Artist Series concert will take place in Room 152 of the Informatics and Communications Technology Complex on the ground of IUPUI, located near the Canal Walk and White River State Park in Indianapolis downtown.
This Indiana native has been making waves in Indianapolis music since he was a student at Valparaiso Univeristy. After graduating in 2005 with a Masters in Music, he found his way to the University of Indianapolis where he has devoted his time to teaching Indianapolis kids the ways of the trumpet.
