Dwight York Cracks-Up at Crackers Comedy Club Downtown

Dwight York brings laughter and smiles to the faces of Indianapolis people as he headlines Crackers Comedy Club in Indianapolis downtown all week! No stranger to the limelight in Indy, Dwight York is a favorite comedian of Circle City celebrities Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold. You can catch him this Wednesday, November 18 through Saturday, November 21 in the heart of downtown Indy. Tickets range from $10.00 to $20.00 and show times are as early as 8:00 and as late at 10:30.

Dwight York burst onto the entertainment scene on the Bob and Tom Radio Show, heard in Indianapolis on WFBQ, with his hilarious one liner, “I was homeless for awhile. I didn’t want anyone to know so I slept in front of a Ticket Master.” With those two simple sentences, Tom Griswold had a “new favorite joke” and Dwight York was welcome back on the air anytime he liked. He was even part of the infamous 2005 “Friends of Bob and Tom Show” concert tour.

But the list of celebrities York has played with does not stop there. He has appeared on stage with dozens of the biggest names in comedy such as Lewis Black, Mitch Hedberg, Dave Chapelle, Tommy Chong, Bobcat Goldthwait, Kevin Pollack, Harland Williams, Victoria Jackson, Kristi  Lee, Chic McGee and many many more. In addition, York is a decorated comedian, winning big at some of the most prestigious comedy contests and festivals like the 1995 Vail National Comedy Invitational, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the 1996 and 1997 San Francisco International Comedy Contest.
