21st Annual Indianapolis Jingle Bell Run/ Walk for Arthritis Saturday

This Saturday, if you hear the sound of bells in the Circle City, its not Santa’s reindeer team doing a test flight. It is the sound of thousands of Hoosiers with jingle bells on their shoes, running to raise awareness and find a cure for arthritis and related diseases. The 21st annual Indianapolis Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis starts at the Indiana State Museum early this Saturday, December 12.

Don a festive holiday costume Saturday morning and tie bells to your sneakers as you take part in this annual Indianapolis charity event. 2,750 Indianapolis people will take over the White River Parkway for the 21st Annual Indianapolis Jingle Bell Run/ Walk for Arthritis. Their mission is to prevent, control and cure arthritis and related diseases by raising funds necessary for research and treatments.

The Run/ Walk supports the more than 1.4 million adults and 6,400 children in Indiana alone,  who suffer from chronic joint symptoms. If you know anyone who is afflicted with this kind of pain, you know who terrible and difficult it can make life. The 21st Annual Indianapolis Jingle Bell Run/ Walk for Arthritis is a run and effective way to support Hoosiers who suffer from arthritis. All proceeds from the Run/ Walk will go to the Arthritis Foundation and their mission to prevent, control and cure arthritis and related diseases.

The Arthritis Foundation is the only national organization with a focus on helping people with arthritis. They provide a large number of community based programs and services across the United States to ease the lives of people who suffer from arthritis. Through their work they hope that one day prevention and control of arthritis will give way to a solid final cure for the painful disease.
