Star Wars In Concert Comes to Indy

You have seen the movies. You have bought the merchandise. Now experience the music, in a way like none other. Star Wars: In Concert comes to Indianapolis’ Conseco Fieldhouse this Saturday, December 12 to wow Hoosier Star Wars fans and non-fans alike! This Indianapolis music event presents John Williams’ original score to the cult classic movies in a uniquely powerful way. With an eighty six piece symphony concert orchestra and choir and a monstrous LED screen bigger than the roving Falumpaset of Lucas’ movies, Star Wars: In Concert is an Indianapolis event like no other.

Even George Lucas was impressed by the scope of the Star Wars: In Concert undertaking. Known for his tight control over the entire Star Wars industry, Lucas did not come up with this brainchild. But when Howard Roffman, President of Lucas Licensing, approached him with the idea, neither Lucas nor Williams could imagine the size of Roffman’s vision. Once Roffman sold the two men on Star Wars: In Concert, the sky was the limit.

Anthony Daniels, who voice the golden droid C3PO in all of the movies and most of the spin offs, provides narration for Star Wars: In Concert. His voice, alone, is yet another reason Star Wars fans should get pumped and don their formal light sabers for this concert event. As the mammoth symphony orchestra and choir bring Williams’ original score to life, a clip show from the various movies spliced together plays, punctuated by Daniels narration. In addition, a laser lights show brings this performance event to a culmination that will tug on the emotions of both Star Wars super fans and regular Joe’s from off the street alike.

Fans will go ga-ga for this unique experience coming to Conseco Fieldhouse this Saturday, December 12. It is big; it is powerful; it is Star Wars: In Concert. For information on how to purchase tickets to this Indianapolis event, visit the Ticketmaster website.
