In that time he has earned the title: “Mr. Standing O.” Fans describe his stand up as a “whining cross between Jerry Seinfeld and Jerry Lewis.” In his time traveling and performing in the United States, Canada and Mexico, Greg Morton has been called everything from bizarre to original to slick to hilarious. And it is all true!
Greg Morton comes to Indianapolis this week from his home in Canada. This maple leaf has crossed the continent performing to packed comedy clubs. He has been everywhere from the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal to Atlantic City to the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas. If you recognize this guy’s mug, it is probably because you have seen him in your living room. Greg Morton has made numerous television appearances on Comedy Central including the variety show Premium Blend. He has also performed on the CW network on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen.

Greg Morton’s self labeled “Ultimate Stand Up Comedy Act” stems from his ability to combine a variety of different comedic styles to address a cornucopia of topics from politics to children’s toys to hurricanes. Greg Morton has a flair for anxiety ridden observational comedy and a talent for impersonating voices. Whether he does celebrities or fictional characters, no one and nothing is off limits. Imagine the Star Wars saga and the Lord of the Rings trilogy told in two minutes each, complete with voices, sound effects and mannerisms. Lastly, Morton has no fear when it comes to musical comedic reviews. He does a pretty darn good review of the music of the 1980s complete with costumes and voices for everyone from Tina Turner to Aerosmith.
