Crackers Comedy Club in Indianapolis downtown presents Dwight Slade. Part man, part boy (which part we are not sure) Dwight Slade is a legend of United States comedy. Slade is a two for one package. With both an intelligent and raging voice of justice and the attitude of a high school prankster, Dwight Slade easily captured the prize spot at this year’s Boston Comedy Festival. Born in Seattle, Washington, Dwight Slade has lived everywhere from California to Texas to George to Connecticut.
Dwight Slade made his feature film debut in 2000 in the movie Inconceivable, which is still shown Showtime and Lifetime. He has even made a foray into the independent film world int he gritty family drama My Way Home. His film career has continued with appearances in three other feature films including the soon to be released Rid of Me by James Westby.
In 2002, Slade made history by becoming the first comic to appear at three of the major North American Comedy Festivals: Aspen, Chicago, Montreal. After that he signed a development deal with Warners Brother Television and was selected to appear on HBO’s “Best of the United States Comedy Arts Festival. In addition he has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and NBC’s “The Tonight Show.”

Slade gained international stardom after receiving and five star review from Scotland’s Minister of Culture at the world famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also performed at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. Following this, he dedicated his time to the United State Troops by touring Afghanistan and Israel.

Todd Yohn is a master of making music funny, best illustrated through his original comedic tunes such as “The Feminine Hygiene Song,” “Daddy Please Don’t Go” and the ever popular “Orange Barrels.” What sets Todd Yohn apart as a comedic musician is his long standing reputation as a real musician. In fact, he still has a song writing deal with MCA Publishing in Nashville, Tennessee.
