This is a real estate update on our doughnut county to the west. The number of homes sold for December 2008 was 117 compared to the 120 sold in December 2009.
Homes spent an average of 12 days longer on the market in December 2009 compared to the same time the previous year. Sold vs. list price was consistent as well. December 2008 came in at 95% with December 2009 in at 96%.
Hendricks County will continue to experience growth as the Ronald Reagan Parkway is finished making travel from the northern to the southern part of the county easier.
Avon, Indiana and Plainfield are continually booming with retail and industrial expansion. Those who enjoy the suburban life are sure to find Hendricks County an enjoyable place to live.
