WFYI hosts the 11th Annual Ice Miller Indy Wine Fest this Friday, February 5 at the Indiana Rooftop Ballroom above the stages of the Indiana Repertory Theatre. This celebration of fine wines from wineries and distributors is sponsored by Kahn’s Fine Wine and Spirits and Clark Appliance. This Indianapolis event goes from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Tickets are $60.00 for general admission and $110.00 for admission to the Connoisseurs Area. All proceeds from this Indianapolis downtown event go to benefit WFYI Public Broadcasting’s programming and educational outreach services.
Wine lovers can sample more than 400 wines from Indianapolis, across the United States and around the world with a general admission ticket. A Connoisseur’s ticket gives guest to Indy Wine Fest early entry at 5:30 pm and access to the exclusive balcony area as well as the main tasting floor. The balcony offers a smaller crowd where representatives from wineries and distributors will be on hand to answer all your questions. Connoisseur’s can also sample an additional forty wines from around the world (some of the finest available). They will also be provided from hors d’oeuvres and dessert in the balcony area.
Participating Indianapolis businesses available to general admission ticket holders include Kahn’s Fine Wines and Spirits, Vintner Selects, Mallow Run Winery, Graybull Organic Wines, Whyte Horse Winery, Chateau Thomas Winery, Las Arribas, Vinture Wine Group, Easley Winery, Buck Creek Winery, Grape Inspirations Winery, Ferrin’s Fruit Winery, Oliver Winery, Turtle Run Winery, Butler Winery, Madison Vineyards and Monarch Beverage. In addition to the above listed sampling opportunities, Connoisseurs can try even more wine! This is an Indianapolis event you don’t want to miss.
