Broad Ripple Crackers Comedy Club Welcomes John Evans

This week the Crackers Comedy Club location in Broad Ripple Village welcomes comedian John Evans to the stage February 10 to 14. Tickets to this Indianapolis event range from $10.00 to $20.00 and show times are as early as 8:00 pm to as late as 10:30 pm. This unique comedian offers a laid back performance that will but you at ease and tickle your funny bone.

John Evans began his stand-up career in 1996 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Back then John’s routine pretty much consisted of Andy Rooney impression and a dream. Since then, John Evans has dropped the Andy Rooney impression and gone onto bigger and better things. After landing a spot in the Montreal Comedy Festival’s “New Faces” show, Evans career began to skyrocket. With featured appearances on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” John Evans has begun to get the exposure necessary to a successful career as a comedian.

Currently, John Evans finds himself as a regular on the Indianapolis media phenomenon “The Bob and Tom Show” (heard in Indianapolis on WFBQ). He is constantly cross from coast to coast in the United States playing at numerous clubs including the Comedy and Magic Club in Hermosa Beach, California and Improvs and Funny Bones across the nation.

John Evans has also had the great honor of working with some of comedy’s biggest names. His career has put him on stage along side comedians like George Carlin, Lewis Black, Dave Chappelle, Carlos Mencia, Kevin Pollack, Doug Stanhope, Mitch Hedbert, Todd Barry and Sarah Silverman.
