Tickets for this Indianapolis theatre event are $24.00. Make your reservations today!

The Indianapolis Civic Theatre’s Broadway Concert Series is model after the popular New York Encore Series. February 12 to 14 the Civic Theatre shares the music of My Fair Lady with the Indianapolis community. The performances feature orchestration with a focus on the music, story and vocal arrangements.

Join in the joy of this cherished Lerner and Lowe classic based on George Bernard Shaw’s popular play Pygmalion. Follow Eliza Doolittle, a flower girl during the turn of the twentieth century as she is transformed. In 1910 London Eliza Doolittle has a chance encounter with phonetics expert Henry Higgins. After meeting the Cockney “guttersnipe” Higgins bets his good friend Colonel Pickering that he can pass this piece of rubbage off as a high society debutante simply by changing her speech patterns. In a matter of months, Eliza goes from lowly flower girl to belle of the ball!

Indianapolis Civic Theatre has assembled a fine team of musicians and vocalist to bring the music of My Fair Lady to life. The Tony award winning musical features all your favorite numbers including “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “The Rain in Spain.”

Audiences attending the Saturday, February 13 performance of My Fair Lady are invited to partake of a complimentary wine tasting party, thanks to Easley Winery. As the oldest family owned winery in Indiana, Easely Winery will provide samples of their finest and most popular wines prior to the performance. This Indianapolis event begins at 5:30 pm, followed by a 7:00 pm performance.
