If you’ve ever wondered what goes into the process of beer brewing and wine making, now is your chance to find out. During this basic demonstration, you’ll learn how to brew with extract and specialty grains. The session is interactive, so be prepared to ask some questions and do some work!

In addition, a special wine making with fruit session will be available in May. You’ll be given a crash course into transforming fruit into wine, complete with details of acid and sugar levels and everything else you’ll need to process your own smooth, fruity vino. Class fees vary, so check the Great Fermentations website for more details.

Once you feel you’re ready to set out on your own beer or wine making expedition, let Great Fermentations guide you through the process of exactly what materials you’ll need on your journey–all are available for sale at the store or through the website. There are even books available to help further your training. And don’t forget to check out the new cheese making kits. Use these fun tools to make your very own Mozzarella, Swiss, Muenster, Romano, and more.
