Much like the Indianapolis Children’s Museum, kids are free to laugh and play in an educational and safe atmosphere. The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis even helped in the development of the Muncie Children’s Museum, which premiered exhibits in 1977.

One popular exhibit at the museum is a model train set that travels through a miniature model of Muncie. The Bat Cave allows children to get up close to some creepy-crawlers, while also learning about the development of many Indiana caves. Water Works is a fun and interactive exhibit that demonstrates the power of water with squirt guns and moving targets to shoot. The Ant Wall is an exhibit that makes kids think outside the box, as they pretend to actually be ants in a colony.
