The Naptown Roller Derby girls are back this weekend to take on the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz in the Toyota Blue Ribbon Pavilion of the Indiana State Fairgrounds Saturday, March 20, 2010. The Naptown Tornado Sirens are fierce this Spring as their name seems to match impending bad weather.
This long awaited match serves up a chance for revenge on behalf of the Naptown Tornado Sirens, who were bested by the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz last October. This time, Indianapolis’ Tornado Sirens are on home turf and ready for some payback. This Star Wars themed bout invites Indianapolis people to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars character. At half time, the Indianapolis Junior Roller Derby takes the rink for a mini bout. These youngsters are every bit as feisty as their Senior counterparts.
Tickets to this Indianapolis sports event are $12.00 in advance and $17.00 CASH at the door. Military personnel tickets are only $8.00, limit two. And Indianapolis kids under six are admitted for FREE. The bout begins at 7:30 pm this Saturday. For more information visit the Naptown Roller Derby website, or call 317.522.1958.
