Happy Hour is Back at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra

Looking for a fun way to blow of some steam or the midweek blues? Look no further than the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Happy Hour event at the Hilbert Circle Theatre Thursday, May 6. This Indianapolis music event offers cocktails, appetizers, mingling and music in the heart of Indianapolis downtown, and all for a great price. Tickets to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Happy Hour are only $20.00 per person, which includes unlimited cocktails, food and fun! Mingling starts at 5:00 pm and the concert starts at 6:30 pm. Don’t be late!

This month’s installment of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Happy Hour features Time for Three, an established string ensemble. The Happy Hour event at the Hilbert Circle Theatre is proud to present both classical favorites and modern pop tunes in a relaxed environment. Thursday, Time for Three will play a selection that represents a wide range of musical styles.

Their concert kicks off with John Lennon and Paul McCartney’s number one hit “Blackbird.” Then the string ensemble delves into Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, performed last weekend by the entire Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Then the ensemble rounds out their concert with a sneak peek at their newest concerto, the jazz influenced Travels in Time For Three. With classical, pop and original music, this season finale Happy Hour promises to be the best yet!

After the show, join FORTE (the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s young professionals group at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse Downtown for an after party with great drink specials. Support the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra as they strive to provide an accessible experience for Indianapolis people to enjoy. Mingling at the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Happy Hour offers a whole host of possibilities. You never know who you may meet!
