This young comedian has already headlined top comedy clubs across the United States. He has even earned the sought after honor of marquee status on the Sunset Strip. With a ballsy attitude, Ernst hits the stage armed with his Jersey accent ready to delve into an array of observations. His humor encompasses his brash views on sex, relationships, growing up, society and culture. With a bold delivery, Ernst picks up momentum building his jokes to the ultimate level of hilarity.
You may recognize Bret Ernst from numerous television appearances. He has had two recurring guest starring roles on Showtime’s critically acclaimed series “Weeds” and on the popular hit “CSI: NY.” In addition, he hosted “Wrestling Society X” on MTV and has been featured on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” and Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend.” On top of that, he has made celebrity appearances on “The Chelsea Lately Show” and “Top Ten” on E! Network, ABC’s “Comics Unleashed” and Fox’s “The Sports List.” Last March, his new show on the Oxygen Network premiered to rave reviews. As the host of “Love Games: Bad Girls Need Love Too” Ernst helped three women find the right man out of thirteen bachelors.
Ernst was also featured in Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show, which has recently been released to DVD. The film documents Ernst with Vaughn and three other comedians as they perform to sold out crowds in a thirty night thirty venue tour across the United States. Other film credits include Artie Lang’s Beer League and the independent feature film Legacy. You can catch Bret Ernst’s very own half hour comedy special on Comedy Central’s “Comedy Central Presents,” now airing in reruns on the network. In addition, Ernst was recently seen on the BET series “One Mic Stand” and the Showtime series “Comics Without Borders.”
