The Indiana State Museum is a premier Indianapolis attraction which gathers and displays the history and culture of Indianapolis, and that of the Hoosier state of Indiana as well. This museum in Indianapolis is a great source of well-considered exhibits, and a popular destination for a fun, educational family activity in Indianapolis.
Located in the midst of the active downtown Indianapolis sector of the Circle City, on the southeast edge of the Indiana University-Purdue University campus, and just northwest of the Indianapolis cultural district known as Fountain Square. If you haven’t been to visit this impressive facility in a while, consider putting it on your list of things to do in Indianapolis before the year gets much older, and the weather much colder.
