The Yelp 500: Indianapolis Festival Celebration

Come celebrate the Yelp 500 and the grand opening of the Service Center for Contemporary Culture and Community by Big Car Gallery. This Saturday, May 28 head to the all new Service Center for Contemporary Culture and Community on Lafayette Road to join in the fun. This 21 and up event is FREE, but does require an RSVP in advance. This Indianapolis event offers a variety of food, drink and entertainment that is entirely complimentary. Don’t miss this incredible Indianapolis festival celebration.

Sun King Brewing will be on hand, serving up suds out of the Sun King Truck. Plus the rumor going around is that this favorite Indianapolis brewery will make a special announcement. If beer isn’t your cup of tea, enjoy local honey wines and ciders from New Day Meadery. The name sounds as good as their drinks taste.

Plus Indianapolis food artisans are serving up some amazing snacks. Enjoy a a sampling of smoked meats from Smoking Goose, who will tote their hot off the coals traveling smokeria. Papa Roux will get your taste buds watering with the smell and taste of their bacon etoufee. Enjoy a few decadent crepes from 3 Days in Paris. And lastly but certainly not least of all, Georgetown Market will offer a host of healthy treats to make you feel good on the inside and out.
The best entertainment from around Indy turns out for this very special occasions. Hosts Alabaster Betty and the Muncie Brothers of the White Rabbit Cabaret. They’ll introduce great acts like excerpts from the Phoenix Theatre’s current Gilbert and Sullivan style musical spoof of the Indy 500: The Zippers of Zoomerville. Plus Indycog will be running their Sun King Trike Races. The Circle City Derby Girls will be on hand making their rounds on four wheels. NUVO Newsweekly will do ticket giveaways. One Brick, the best in Indianapolis volunteers, will check you in. Indy Photo Booths will make a lasting memory of your on film and the Yelp Indy Camels will make their debut appearance (yup, real Camels)!

While this Indianapolis event is totally free, feel FREE to make a donation to Big Car’s new Service Center, which hosts the evening as its grand opening.
