Indianapolis artist Ting Huang considers her journey through the creative process a healing and regenerative one. Wandering in the world of color and shapes provides her with a continual practice in connecting, without words, to inner emotions and communicating them to her viewers through her art.
The result is a portfolio full of abstracts that speak to the viewer on a visceral level, employing mostly geometric shapes and vibrant color juxtapositions. Ting Huang works primarily with acrylics and oils on canvas, exploring both happenings and accidents in layers until the final composition emerges.
Originally from Taiwan, Ting Huang made her way to settle in Indianapolis in Central Indiana, after completing a Master of Art degree at the Pittsburg State University in 1998.
