Tim McGraw is one-half of country music’s most powerful couple. He and his wife, Faith Hill, have reached the status of country royalty This Sunday is your chance to see and hear him perform live. McGraw has had eleven consecutive albums debut at Number One on the Billboard charts. Twenty one of his singles have hit number one, and that’s just scratching the surface of his accomplishments. A three time Grammy Award winner, McGraw is also the proud winner of 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 11 Country Music Association Awards, 10 American Music Awards and three People’s Choice Awards. McGraw first gained popularity in the early nineties. His second album “Not a Moment Too Soon” became the number one best selling country album in 1994. It earned McGraw his first taste of the big time. In total, McGraw has released ten studio albums and seven compilation albums. His latest release, “Southern Voice,” reached number one on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, number two on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified gold. Luke Bryan debuted in the country music world in 2007 with the single “All My Friends Say,” which reached the top 5 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. His debut album, released later that year, was called “I’ll Stay Me.” Since its release, Bryan has released two other albums, which have only added to his fame. This up and coming country music star is honored to open for Tim McGraw to share his songs with even more fans.
The Band Perry
The Band Perry is keeping it all in the family. Lead singer Kimberly Perry and her two brothers Reid Perry (bass, guitar, vocals) and Neil Perry (mandolin, drums, accordion) grew up making music together. The young band only recently made their debut in 2009 with the single “Hip to my Heart,” which was featured on their 2010 debut self titled album. Their debut record shot them to stardom when it reached number one on the Hot Country Songs chart and was certified double platinum.
Born and raised in Alabama, the band was discovered by Garth Brooks’ manager Bob Doyle, who helped them make their first recordings. As they traverse the country opening for Tim McGraw, these youngsters are gaining experience every minute of every day.
