Greek Night at the Walker – Calling all Greeks! AKA’s, Alphas, Deltas, Kappas, Qs, Sigmas, S G Rhos, Zetas and Iotas will descend on the Madame Walker Theater Center for an amazing Super Bowl Celebration. Or show up on Monday, Wednesday or Friday at 1 p.m. for a tour with the actors of Freetown Village. Don’t miss your chance to see the ins and outs of this National Historic Landmark.
Steward and Associates: Jeff Henderson – As an award-winning chef and best selling author, Jeff Henderson always puts his best foot forward. From the slop line to four star kitchens in Las Vegas, Henderson really does have a Cinderella story to share. Will Smith is even in the process of developing a film about his tragic life and rise to fame. You’ve heard him speak on The Oprah Winfrey show, Good Morning America, the Montel Williams Show, CNBC, NPR’s All Things Considered and more. Now hear him live at the Madame Walker Theater.
Leymah Gbowee: 2011 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate – This Liberian peace activist was recognized by the Nobel Prize committee last year for her commitment to a women’s peace movement that brought an end to the Second Liberian Civil War.
