Of course food is key at Twenty Tap. Order a starter to share. Selections include boiled peanuts, pickled beets served with house made ricotta, balsamic, olive oil and arugula. Or enjoy beer battered cheese curds with a choice of two sauces. Or get the Pimento Mac and Cheese, add bacon for an additional charge. Or share the sausage plate: a selection of artisanal meats, stinky cheese, cornichons and grainy mustard.

Enjoy a delicate salad for your main course. Order simple greens with shallot, fennel, herbs, Parmesan, oranges, croutons and balsamic sherry vinaigrette. For heartier tastes, get the steak salad: served over romaine, Napa cabbage, red onion, grape tomato, jimica, peppadew and lime cilantro vinaigrette. Or try the chop romaine with onion, tomato, cucumber, olive, bleu cheese, stout candied walnuts, creamy yogurt herb dressing and lemon zest.

No bar menu is complete without a full selection of sandwiches and burgers. Get the pressed Cuban: with ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, mustard and pickles. The Indiana Brat with beer mustard is a Hoosier favorite. But those with a vegetarian diet can enjoy the Vegan Bahn Mi with smoked tofu, pickled carrot and daikon, cilantro, cucumber, jalapeno and vegan mayo.

The burgers at Twenty Tap are classic. Feel “The Burn,” served with stout sauteed chilies, jalapenos, onion, pulled pork and cheddar. Or get the Italian topped with fried sopressata, mozzarella, arugula and roasted garlic aioli.

No matter what you order, Twenty Tap is sure to satisfy. Pair your meal with a beer or two or three. Check out these other north Indianapolis restaurants for more dining ideas.
