It’s the 54th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts World of Wheels at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, starting on Friday, February 8 and lasting through Sunday, February 10, 2013.
There’s just something about classic, American hot rods. Products of American ingenuity, and works of art in their own right, these wonderfully restored machines are a testament to the continued popularity of the great American muscle car age.
Perhaps the centerpiece of this custom show car series is “Motorama 1962.” This portion of the show will feature older hot rods, both traditional and custom styles, built in 1962 and earlier.
Other features will include a Custom Bike Show, “The British Invasion”, The “Munsters” Exhibit, a Charity Pinstripe Auction on behalf of the Diabetes Youth Foundation of Indiana, Rockabilly Music, Car Care Tips, WWE® Superstar Sheamus, Danielle Colby Cushman co-star of History’s “American Pickers”, Christopher Douglas Reed, Philip “Filthy Phil” Russell from FX’s “Sons of Anarchy”, Wrestling Superstar “Edge” (Adam Copeland), Competition for the Circle City & Hoosier Awards, as well as Gauge Magazine Lifestyle Section.
One added bonus of this year’s show is the return of the Best Street Machine Comp Award. This category includes two “Outstanding in Category” awards: Outstanding Street Machine and Outstanding Competition. Two special categories, “Outstanding Street Machine Engine” and “Outstanding Street Machine Interior” have also been added.
